Kelly and Ryah were married at the historic St. John’s Catholic Church in Coloma, CA. As they took their first look in the entryway of the church, the joy and love between them was so delightful and evident. Ryah has one of those laughs that wrinkles her nose in the most delicate and delightful way, and Kelly’s kindness shows in the way that his eyes behold the things that he loves – on their wedding day, both of those truths shone brightly as they interacted with one another. Their service was an “unplugged” ceremony – meaning no cell phones or cameras were allowed. It was refreshing to experience a space where everyone was fully present, where everyone’s full attention was on the love and commitment between these two lovers. As the ceremony ended, Kelly and Ryah stood outside of the church and thanked their guests. Everyone offered hugs and congratulations, and it was tremendously clear to me that every person in attendance was undeniably for them, their love, and their lives together. That love between every person towards them as a couple, and the love that they shared with each other, made it effortless for me to capture their special, classic day.
